The Shepard family invited Winterhaven Custom Builders to design and build the two bay garage addition to their existing ski home. The addition features a large, new mudroom on the main floor and an expansive family room with attached bathroom on the second floor. A set of custom steel mono-stringer stairs with reclaimed timber treads connects the two floors of the addition.

This mountainside townhouse now features a fully updated kitchen with granite counters and raised bar. Natural stone veneer wraps the fireplace creating a cozy living room adjoining the kitchen.

This basement renovation features strong rustic elements, thick natural stone veneer and earth-tone stained concrete floors enhanced by radiant heat. The rough sawn pine ceilings and oak timber bar are beautifully accented with illuminated glass shelving and a polished oak slab bar top. A guest suite with rustic vanity and custom wood plank tile shower is attached to the basement family room.

Tom and Shari allowed Eric a great deal of freedom to design the floor plan and exterior details, while staying true to their vision of a mountain-house style home.

John and Karen desired a contemporary home nestled into the landscape featuring expansive mountain views. They allowed Eric the opportunity to explore a design that captured those essential elements.

The Palm family shared a clear vision for a super energy efficient modern barn style home with simple lines and understated exterior trim details. Erica Palm worked with Winterhaven Custom Builders to collaboratively design and detail every aspect of the fully custom interior.

The home features a fabulous blend of distressed wood beams, aged barn boards, modern fixtures and large format tile to create an incredibly inviting and diverse set of interior spaces. A waterfall style kitchen island is the centerpiece of the gathering space on the main floor and joins seamlessly to the cozy living room and balances the monolithic stone fireplace at the far end of the home.
