Shepard Residence
- The Shepard family invited Winterhaven Custom Builders to design and build the two bay garage addition to their existing ski home. The addition features a large, new mudroom on the main floor and an expansive family room with attached bathroom on the second floor. A set of custom steel mono-stringer stairs with reclaimed timber treads connects the two floors of the addition.
- The dining room, separated from the mudroom by a set of sliding barn doors, provides access from the main house. Reclaimed beams and barn boards highlight the ceiling of the beautifully illuminated new family room. An impressive monolithic two-sided fireplace resides as the main feature in the space and serves to divide the space into a living room, bar area and gaming center.
